At Urban Legends our dogs are our first priority and family members. They are very active and compete in such things as scent detection, herding, agility, fly ball, drag-racing, rally-obedience, weight pull, lure coursing and conformation shows. Our puppies have gone on to be service dogs, therapy dogs, as well as show dogs, performance dogs and most important well-loved pets. My breeding selections are all based on what I am looking for in my next dog. I always breed with the intention to keep a puppy so I am looking for the best breeding I can and with that comes quality, trainability, natural instinct and excellent temperament. Urban Legend's Mini Aussie puppies are suitable for almost any activity and are happy, eager, lovable pets. We pride ourselves in versatile, social, and healthy puppies, just because want a pet, doesn't mean you should have to sacrifice on Looks, Intelligence, Temperament or Health.

We have lots of space for puppies to learn, grow and experience new things. All puppies are well socialized with people and dogs. Puppies grow up in a busy area of my home, so they are accustomed to loud noise, and tons of activity. They play outside as well and are exposed to as much mental stimuli as safely possible for their age. We have two safe puppy play areas, one inside with their own beds, and fireplace for lounging and one outside with lots of play equipment, both with special toys for stimulating senses and educational purposes. They also socialize with the adults in our huge yards once big enough. Puppies learn to walk on many surfaces, they learn balance, courage, independence and manners, all are important factors in well rounded puppies and their future. They are started in potty training and crate training here with us.

We evaluate puppies at 5-6 weeks and that is when we help people to select their puppies. Families are given the opportunity to select from the puppies that are suitable for their homes. Matching families and puppy temperament and energy level is very important to be sure of a long lasting home, happy family and happy puppy for its lifetime. Tails are docked, sorry we do not leave any tails. If we did you may be stuck with a puppy that may not fit your needs or lifestyle. Puppies can not be evaluated for temperament and suitability for your family at 2 days old which is when tails are done.

Puppies are registered with the Miniature Australian Shepherd club of America and can be registered as Miniature American Shepherds with AKC and CKC as well. Each puppy goes home with up to date vaccinations, veterinarian health check, deworming, and health warranty.

All puppies are microchipped and have a lifetime registration with Microchips 4 solutions. I also send you home with a puppy pack that includes food, samples and information on supplements, toy(s), treats and your puppy's information.

They will also have 30 days of free insurance should you sign up for it with Trupanion using our breeder code. We do this for your security of having coverage right away, we get nothing from it. You are welcome to select any insurance company you like.

I offer lifetime advice for you and your new puppy. I provide a written warranty of health and send you home with a vet check booklet as well, so you can be confident in your puppy's health and well being. Before puppy pick up I email a pre puppy pick up prep list, that includes what to buy as well as food and supplement order information to help you prepare to bring your new little one home.
